Sound familiar?
You want to help. You just don't know where to start.
It isn't your child, and it isn't you
Reading is learned in a specific order.
Most children who struggle were simply taught out of order: letter names before letter sounds, or memorized words before they could sound words out. When the steps come in the right order, reading starts to click.
This plan follows the same order teachers use in the classroom, broken into tiny daily steps that any parent can teach at the kitchen table.
"Children learn best when they feel safe, cared for, and confident. That's why every lesson starts with connection, not letters."The teacher behind Blue Castle Studio
How every lesson works
One lesson. Fifteen minutes. The same five steps every day.
Children feel safe with a routine. Your child always knows what comes next, and you never have to wonder what to do.
The 60-day path
From letter sounds to reading a whole book
Sounds and letters
Hear the sounds inside words and match them to letters, starting with s, a, t, p, i, n.
Blending
Push sounds together to read words like cat, sun, and ship.
Heart words and sentences
Learn the tricky common words and read short sentences that tell a story.
First books
Magic e, vowel teams, and rereading for smooth, confident reading.
Every child learns at their own pace. The plan shows you when to move on and when to repeat a day.

Questions parents ask
Frequently asked questions
What age is this for?
Children ages 4 to 7. The readiness check in Chapter 1 shows you where your child should start, so a 4-year-old beginner and a 6-year-old who knows some letters can both use it.
I'm not a teacher. Can I really do this?
Yes. Every lesson tells you what to say, what to do, and which game to play. If you can read a recipe, you can teach these lessons.
How much time does it take?
About 15 minutes a day, five days a week. Short daily lessons work better than long ones.
Is this a physical book?
No. It's a digital PDF you download right after purchase. Read it on your phone or tablet, and print the pages your child will use.
What if my child already knows some letters or reads a little?
The readiness check helps you skip what your child already knows, so you can start at Day 16 or even Day 31.
Will my child read in exactly 60 days?
Every child learns at a different pace, so we can't promise a timeline. Some families finish faster, others repeat days. The plan shows you how to adjust and when it's a good idea to ask a professional.
We speak Spanish at home. Will this work for us?
Yes. The plan teaches reading in English, and Chapter 10 explains how to support a bilingual reader, including the differences between Spanish and English sounds.
What if it's not a fit?
You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Just email us.
